The goal of Engineering Fair - EF is to actually give Taylor's University School of Engineering students a chance to present their product or invention to their lecturer and industrial personnel. This is to give students a chance to experience how to pitch ideas properly to people while being judge with marks at the end of the event. It can actually help to improve student's confidence and speech so that engineering student wouldn't just be in good in their theories, but also be good in marketing and pitching as well. 

Our team is actually the senior committee of Instituition of Mechanical Engineers of Taylor's University. We are in charge of each semester's Taylor's University School of Engineering event which is Engineering Fair. We want to do this crowdfund because we want to help in terms of tools to lift up the mood of the venue of this event and to motivate our students by increasing the competition prize money for a total of 7 category. This will also give awareness to industries and people if the innovation produce by our students is very unique and productive. Thus, giving a higher achievement in terms if experience for them. 

As for the crowdfunding, the reason to do so is that we can provide tools like fans to lift up the ambience of the venue as stated before. To top it off, we need to allocate food for judges, priority is external judges and if possible internal judges as well. Lastly, is to give a higher prize money for the compeittion to motivate students.

Budget:

Fans (2-3) - RM50

Food - RM60 (if possible cater for lunch as well)

The remaining RM390 will be allocated in the winning prize pool.

After Funding Total Prize Pool = RM5100 + 390 = RM5490

The risk and challenges mostly are inviting external judges and provide them with neccessity and also satistfying our participants with the only venue we are able to get. Basically all the other equipments to lift up the ambience of the venue and also the winning prize money to actually motivate the students.
